Description

This is a FROG Grid Fleece Top, aka Waffle Top, that is used in the USMC. Since they’re FROG, it’s flame resistant. So not only will it keep you warm, it’ll help keep you protected from the real warm stuff. The grid fleece helps keep you warm, while allowing for airflow to help keep you from overheating. Much like the US Army Grid Fleece Top, these are 1/4 zip. So the top can be put on, and taken off, easy when needed. Unlike the US Army version, these have a kangaroo pocket at the waist, making these into a great outer layer while you’re out and about, or just taking a break out in the field. At the sleeve cuffs are thumb holes, which even if you don’t always use them are a nice feature to help keep your hands warm when needed. Overall, this is a great thermal layer that can be worn as a base layer, mid layer or even as an outer layer.

  • Flame Resistant – Will not catch fire when exposed to flames. It will burn but it will not drip or catch fire.
  • Moisture Wicking – Garment wicks away moisture which decreases drying time of the material and less soaking.
  • Grid Fleece Material – Has a grid pattern on the inside of the article that seals in the warmth while still allowing air flow through the spaces between the grid. The air flow helps keep remove excess moisture in turn keeping the wear warm and dry.
  • Breathable – Breathable means it allows moisture to escape to help keep the wear dry even when sweating.
  • Front Pocket – This item has front pocket(s).
