Description

This is a Protective Under Garment, PUG that was used by the US Military. It comes with 3 sets of FR underwear and one set of ballistic inserts. The soft armor inserts offer some protection from shrapnel commonly caused by IEDs, and is typically worn in conjunction with a Protective Outer Garment. Overall this is a great way to add some light protection to your kit, especially from IEDs and other explosives.

The PUG was rolled out by the US Military during the global war on terror because of the shear amount of groin injuries caused by IEDs and other explosives. While they didn’t eliminate injuries they minimized the damage to the groin area from shrapnel.

Set of Three (3) Pairs of Underwear with ONE (1) Set of Inserts.

Features:

Flame Resistant – Will not catch fire when exposed to flames. It will burn but it will not drip or catch fire.
Includes Ballistic Insert – Comes with compatible ballistic insert.
Elastic Pant Waistband – Waistband on pants is elastic for proper fitment.
Moisture Wicking – Garment wicks away moisture which decreases drying time of the material and less soaking.
