These are Avon C50 Gas Masks. The C50 is the civilian version of Avon’s M50 Gas Mask. These masks are identical to their military counterpart with one exception, the filters. Unlike the M50, the C50 uses the same 40mm threaded filters the older M40 and most commercial gas masks use. This is extremely convenient for civilian users as M50 filters are traditionally expensive and can be hard to come by. The filter can easily be swapped from left to right side with just the simple switch of a port plug. This is advantageous for left handed shooters as most masks place the filter on the left side of the face causing issues with cheek weld. Outside the filters the C50 has all the same features as the M50 and is fully compatible with M50 accessories. These accessories include (but are not limited to), outer lenses, voice projection units (VPU) and M50 CBRN canteen caps. Condition notes:
– Salty variations are fully intact and free of flaws but will have a white film on the main mask body. This film is either a result of a dirty mask in need of cleaning, residue from decontamination/ sterilization process or as a result of the mask sweating its built in preservative.

– Used without Hardware variations are missing port covers, one must be sourced in order to seal the mask for single filter use

These C50 gas masks are used. The end user accepts all the liability that comes with purchasing and using previously owned PPE. Masks are inspected for obvious flaws however it is recommended users service/clean the masks before use in a real world environment.
