Condor Summit Zero Softshell Jacket, Coyote Brown

Description

This is a Summit Zero lightweight softshell jacket from Condor. Designed to be a lighter weight version of the original Summit softshell, this jacket is perfect for use when active, but can be combined with other layers for static use. This jacket is DWR coated and integrated Teflon coating for maximum water resistance while still allowing for ventilation. The Summit zero is 30% lighter than the original Summit due to the removal of the microfleece lining found on Summit jackets. This does not affect water or wind resistance, but makes the jacket more suitable for active use, and allows it to easily be combined with other layers. This also makes the jacket easier to carry in a pack. The jacket features a stowable hood that is also sized to fit over ballistic helmets, with a cinch to adjust it down when worn by itself. Each shoulder has a zippered pocket with loop on the outside for patches, and the left arm has a small pocket on the wrist for pens and other very small items. Chest pockets on either side allow you to vent the jacket by unzipping them, and also have internal organization for phones and other goodies. There is also a zippered back pocket along the bottom of the jacket, which would be ideal for hand warmers or other flat items, but is also great to increase ventilation by leaving both zippers open. Speaking of ventilation, this jacket also includes armpit zippers, and a two-way main zipper to allow for temperature regulation to prevent overheating and sweating. The cuffs are adjustable via hook and loop. Overall this is a great component to add to your cold weather system.

• Water Resistant – It can be exposed to water for a short period of time without being damaged or saturated with water. Generally not recommended to submerge Water Resistant items unless item is made for that level of exposure.
• DWR Coating – Has a Durable Water Resistant coating applied to material. This exterior coating gives the material additional water and wind resistance. Coatings typically need to be reapplied after several washes. Used and Defect items with DWR coatings can be expected to need reapplication for full effectiveness.
• Two Way Zipper – Zipper includes two pulls allowing the user to open and close the zipper at different areas.
• Jacket Zippered Armpits – Armpits on jacket have zippers to help with ventilation and cooling down.
• Chest Pockets – Has pockets on the front of the chest.
• Exterior Hook and Loop Fields – There is hook and loop on the outside of the pouch for attaching ID and other patches.
• Adjustable Sleeve Cuffs – Sleeves have either a button or hook and loop adjustable cuff for fit and wear.
• Stow Away Hood – There is a stow away hood in the jackets collar for inclement weather.
