Description

These are Flame Resistant Grid Fleece “Waffle” Tops. These tops are designed to keep the flames off but the heat in. Grid fleece is a lightweight, moisture wicking and breathable fabric that is designed to keep you warm without excess heat buildup. These tops are easily layered with other parts of the ECWCS clothing system and are great for cold weather. When worn under outer layers the waffle is a great insulating layer, while still being lightweight and warm enough to be worn standalone in dry weather. These FR Grid Fleece Tops feature a 1/4 length zipper, Thumb loops on the sleeves and are constructed from flame resistant material. Overall these are great tops for layering with your jacket on those cold winter days or wearing stand alone when it’s just a bit chilly.

Features:

  • Flame Resistant – Will not catch fire when exposed to flames. It will burn but it will not drip or catch fire.
  • Shirt 1/4 Zip closure – This shirt has a 1/4 zip closure which means that it is a pullover that has a zipper that goes about 1/4 of the way down the shirt.
  • Grid Fleece Material – Has a grid pattern on the inside of the article that seals in the warmth while still allowing air flow through the spaces between the grid. The air flow helps keep remove excess moisture in turn keeping the wear warm and dry.
  • Breathable – Breathable means it allows moisture to escape to help keep the wear dry even when sweating.
  • Lightweight Construction – Built with lightweight materials for extended use.
