US Army Individual First Aid Kit Pouch, IFAK, No Insert

Description

This is the previously standard issue IFAK pouch that was used in the US Army. These have been replaced with the fancy IFAK II.The pouch can carry a fully stocked IFAK Insert, not included, that holds all the supplies needed for the basic treatment of an individual in the case of trauma wounds. Supplies are stored with a buckled flap and everything sits inside the open pouch easily. If not using the pouch as an IFAK it is a great general purpose pouch for carrying candy at the range, or whatever else you need. The pouch is MOLLE compatible.

IFAK Insert IS NOT included.

Features:

• Buckle Closure – This has a buckle closure to secure the contents inside.
• Pouch Hook and Loop Closure – This pouch has an adjustable hook and loop closure to keep its contents secure.
• MOLLE Compatible – This item is compatible with MOLLE webbing.
• 2 MOLLE Straps – This pouch has 2 MOLLE straps to attach it to MOLLE webbing.
• General Purpose Pouch – This pouch can be used as a general purpose pouch to hold similarly sized items, that you need easy access to, on your kit or gear.
• Water Resistant – It can be exposed to water for a short period of time without being damaged or saturated with water. Generally not recommended to submerge Water Resistant items unless item is made for that level of exposure.
• Pouch Drainage Grommet – This pouch has a drainage grommet at the bottom of the pouch. This allows water to drain from the pouch in wet environments and keeps you from getting weighed down by accumulated water.
• Rigid Case – Pouch or case is rigid. Reinforcement is typically from plastic or other methods.
