Military Map Protractor, Triangle

Description

This is a Map Protractor that is used in the US Military, that features triangular cut outs for when measuring grid squares. This is the more “classic” style of protractor. Protractors feature 3 cut out windows for measuring on 1:25,000, 1:50,000 and 1:100,000 scale maps. The outer edge of the protractor has 2 scales for measuring mils (outer) and degrees (inner). Within the protractor is also a North, South, East & West compass for aiding in orienting your scale with your map. This is a super handy tool to have in conjunction with your compass for mapwork, when GPS is not an option to use or you just want to check the space man with good ole analog work.
