Description

The triangular bandage from North American Rescue can be used as a sling, cravat, bandage, or head dressing to support fractures and immobilize limbs. Constructed of strong muslin material, this triangular bandage (cravat) is ideal for splinting, outer layer wound bandaging, etc. Each bandage includes 2 safety pins. Because these bandages have multiple uses they are ideal for almost any small or compact trauma or first aid kit. These are identical to the old Army issue muslin bandages.

    I bought this for first aid but now I actually use it as a sweat band under my hard hat. The muslin material is more absorbent than a regular cotton-poly bandana, so it is my go-to sweat-catcher these days. Split it in half so one’s around my head and the other is in my hardhat suspension. When one gets soaked, I put it around my neck and put the other one on, then switch them out for the rest of the day. I am getting another one just because the first turned out to be so handy.
