Description
The Propper BDU 2.0 Pants tend to run slightly large, mostly sitting at the top end of the selected size for waist and length. We DO NOT recommend sizing down unless you are already at the lower end of your size.
Plastic Waist Adjusters are the only weak point in the pants. These can break under high stress or when pulled very tight repeatedly. We have reached out to Propper and are hoping for a solution in the future!
These are lightweight BDU pants from Propper. These pants offer more comfort and performance than a normal set of BDU pants with several upgrades having been done. Made of the same 57/43% NYCO ripstop material as the US Army Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniform, IHWCU, these pants are quicker drying, lighter, and more comfortable than traditional 50/50 NYCO. The pocket layout is also slightly improved over the typical BDU layout, with angled pocket flaps and an overall slimmer construction. The left cargo pocket also offers a small pocket for cell phones, magazines, or other small items. The cargo and back pocket flaps are fastened with buttons and lay very flat when not in use. The inside of the waist has a very soft material for comfort when wearing a belt, and the waist is adjustable with plastic buckles that can be undone to rapidly loosen the waist. On the right front belt loop is a metal D-Ring for attaching keys or other small items. The zipper fly is secured with a button at the top, with a spare button on the inside for field repairs. Reinforced knees provide additional durability, and the ankle cuffs can be tightened down to prevent debris or bugs from getting into your pant leg. Overall, these pants are a great option for hiking, field use, or really anything outdoors.

Pros:
+Quick drying
+Generous crotch
+Durable
+Light and packable
Meh:
+Cargo pockets can be too loose and the lip will peek out from under the flap. I would like for a way to better secure the lip, although I have yet to have anything fall out.
Cons:
+My pair, ordered and marked in Large-Regular, fit like a Large-Long. I have another pair in Coyote that fit like normal.
+The side buckles break pretty quickly. I wear a belt so I haven’t noticed a problem, it just feels like wasted time and money if Propper uses plastic buckles that snap with a harsh word.
