Great headset. I’m still on the lookout for a good VIC-3/VRC adapter that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, but as a standalone, they’re comparable to my Peltor Range guards in terms of NRR and sound quality. They don’t hold a candle to COMTAC or Sordins, but for the price, and the nice added bonus that they can fit under a full cut helmet without removing any pads or suspension, they’re a solid buy. The hook&loop strap that goes over the top of a helmet/on the top of a head on mine was broken, but the PTT passed a function check, and indeed does cancel out the sound of gunshots, so for a neat, inexpensive set of ear pro that can go under a helmet, I highly recommend them.
