This is a Simunition FX 9000 protective mask. These masks are used to protect the faces of law enforcement and military personnel when conducting force on force training with simunition’s. Simunition’s are used by law enforcement and military to train more specific force on force scenarios utilizing their actual firearms, sim guns utilize a specialized magazine and bolt to ensure live ammunition cannot be placed within the firearm or magazine. By using their issued/ work guns personnel can train for real time usage of their firearms due to the more realistic function with simunition’s. The FX 9000 mask features a polymer full face shield, ballistically rated lens, full face/head coverage and size adjustments for different head/neck sizes. Beyond the polymer face shield the FX 9000 mask is primarily made up of a durable mesh ensuring good breathability even when worn all day.
