Description

This is the Thales AN/PRC-148 “pork chop” handset used in the US Military. The handset uses a 5 pin connector to plug into tactical radios and is not compatible with most civilian radios. The handset is rugged and simple with a easy to use Push To Talk (PTT) on the side. There is a built in clip on the back for attaching to straps for when not in use.

Does not work on most civilian radios.

Features:

  • Compatible with AN/PRC 148 and AN/PRC 152 radios – This is compatible with and will fit the AN/PRC 148 and AN/PRC 152 radios.
  • For Compatible Radios Only – Equipment is compatible with Mil-Spec radios and comms equipment only. Typically uses a different multi pin connector different than civilian ones.
