Description
This is the combat shirt from Tru-Spec that is closely modeled off the current US Army one, with some changes. The shirt keeps the ACU style sleeves and zippered pockets. This makes the shirt look similar to the standard uniform, especially when worn under kit. The body of the shirt is made of a 60% Cotton/40% Cordura base layer fabric that is No Melt, No Drip. It is NOT fire resistant, just safer for general wear when it matters most. The body is more of an up to date design and similar to what you see on other name brands. The collar is 1/4 zip and the collar can be folded up or down when worn with kit. Overall this is a very nice combat shirt that is a combination of the USMC shirt and the standard US Army ACU shirt worn today. Oh, and it’s moisture wicking and breathable.
NOT FIRE RESISTANT! Shirt body is ONLY No Melt, No Drip!
Features:
- Breathable – Breathable means it allows moisture to escape to help keep the wear dry even when sweating.
- Moisture Wicking – Garment wicks away moisture which decreases drying time of the material and less soaking.
- Quick Drying – Material is quick drying.
- Shirt 1/4 Zip closure – This shirt has a 1/4 zip closure which means that it is a pullover that has a zipper that goes about 1/4 of the way down the shirt.
- Zippered Shoulder Pockets – Pockets on shoulders for storing small items with zippered closure.
- Adjustable Sleeve Cuffs – Sleeves have either a button or hook and loop adjustable cuff for fit and wear.
- Scorpion Camouflage, OCP – When Multicam was adopted as the replacement for UCP during deployment operations it was also considered for Army wide adoption for uniforms and gear. Licensing fees for the Multicam pattern were deemed to high and the US Army took to the predecessor, Scorpion OCP. Scorpion OCP had been developed alongside Multicam and shares most of the same design. Side by side Multicam and Scorpion look much the same, with differences being subtle. The base color of Scorpion is green, compared to brown in Multicam and the shading of all colors was changed slightly. Scorpion also has no vertical elements in the camo. Scorpion is currently referred to as OCP, or Operational Camouflage Pattern and is used for US Army Uniforms and most Army gear.
