Description

These are 404th Support Battalion Unit Crest Pin. These crest pins are authorized for wear on a Soldier’s dress uniform indicating their affiliation with that unit. The 404th Support Battalion was constituted into the regular army on January 16th 1996 and was assigned to the 4th Infantry Division while at Fort Hood in Texas. The 404th has been deployed several times, participating in both the Iraq War and the war in Afghanistan. The 404th Support Battalion is still attached to 4ID and is currently garrisoned at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
