Description
These are 2 quart canteen pouches that used to be issued in the US Military. These pouches can either be worn slung over a shoulder or attached to gear with the two ALICE clips. Inside the pouch is a faux fur lining to help keep water from freezing. The faux fur lining also helps keep water cool when in hot weather, simply soak the pouch in water and it creates a cooling effect!
Defect Pouches will not include carrying sling!!
Features:
- Fits USGI 2 Quart Canteen – Securely holds one 2 quart canteen.
- Buckle Closure – This has a buckle closure to secure the contents inside.
- Adjustable Sling – Webbing length on sling is adjustable with webbing buckles.
- ALICE Compatible – This item uses the ALICE, All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment, system. This system was used by the US Military starting in 1973 and was replaced with MOLLE gear. The system uses simple metal clips (slide, belt keepers) to mount pouches and accessories to webbing on gear and equipment.
- Insulated Pouch – Pouch is insulated for keeping gear such as water bottles protected from cold and hot temperatures.
- Includes Two (2) ALICE Clips – This includes two (2) metal ALICE clips that allow the user to attached it to ALICE compatible gear.
