Description
This is a pair of overalls that were made by Dakota Outerwear for the US Air Force. Intended for use in frigid temperatures, these overalls have 4.4oz Polyfill stitched to nylon, with an additional layer of 1/8 inch foam for a wind barrier. These overalls are NOT FR rated and should not be used if FR protection is required. The outside is a NYCO twill, so it feels and functions very similarly to a standard uniform. There are two front pockets, two back pockets and a small pocket on one leg. The opposite leg has a loop for tools such as a hammer or small hatchet. The legs zip up all the way to the waist, making these easy to don and doff without removing winter boots. The top section also unzips for ventilation, or to easily add/ remove layers. Overall, these are great overalls (see what I did there?) for very cold climates when regular pants just don’t cut it.
