Description
ONLY USMC Coyote Bandoleers have MOLLE webbing on backside for additional gear.
USMC Bandoleers, in ALL Conditions, may have black smudges that CAN BE wiped/washed off. It also wears off with use. This is just how they come. Somewhere along the line they all have a tendency to get smudged up somehow. New, will have minimal, Used & Defect will have various amounts.
What’s better than two mags you might ask yourself? SIX mags! This is the standard issue magazine bandoleer issued throughout the US Military. The bandoleer has three sleeves that can hold two USGI 5.56mm 30 round mags each, and there’s three of those pockets. Mags are secured with button snap flaps. You can carry this around in style with the adjustable strap on it. Those buttons snaps on there that seem very random and not often used are for attaching the bandoleer to the inside of compatible backpacks, such as the US Army 3 Day Assault pack. That makes it easier to carry while still being ready to go. These are a great way to keep your mags stored and ready to go at the range or when traveling.
USMC Bandoleers, ALL CONDITIONS, mag have small black smudges that can be wiped off easily. It’s just something we’ve found happens a lot with USMC kit for some reason.
Magazines typically fit fairly tight in these, especially when in New Condition. Expect a break in period where you need to leave mags stored in there for a little bit to loosen things up.
Polymer mags such as PMAGs can be used. Mags have to be inserted differently. One mag will be inserted base down while the other flipped base up. They are still tight in the pocket but fit! Will NOT fit them if placed in there if stacked normally.

They will not hold six magazines and allow flap to be buttoned down! The snaps will close if you lube them, not a good product and they are not worth the price! That being said, this is the first time I have received a product like this from Venture. Everything for the past three years or so have been to their product description, and I have got my what I paid for and then some!

These are exactly what they are and as long as you put 6 aluminum or steel magazines they close but a polymer magazine like a Magpul will only hold one per pocket.

I have three of these and while they are a tight fit for my mags initially they will fit. I have put empty mags in mine and let the pouch sit loaded for a week or two. That stretches the flaps out so they close without a lot of effort. Will only hold three polymer mags though.

I love these bandoliers for storing loaded magazines – just grab and go!
Some folks complain about these being “tight” or tough to close when you have two mags per pouch loaded up. These do require a break-in period if they’re new, so they actually loosen up and become easier to close after a while. I have some that are broken-in enough to actually hold two PMAGs per pouch.

Saw the YT video regarding the newer FILBE variation, liked the idea of the molle on the back for a bit of a grab and go kit. I did try a couple different ways for the P-Mags but this is brand new and will need some breaking in. Threw some old school mags in for now while debating on what to put on the back.
Order wise, ordered the 24th (Thur), and it arrived the 28th (Mon). Fast and shipping, item was exactly as described. Kudos to Lucas and the crew making the videos, as it was a big part in ordering. First order from Venture and very happy with it. Keep up the good work.

I purchased this item in Woodland M81. There was no PALS webbing (MOLLE) on the backside. So, I couldn’t mount a TQ holder or anything else as I had intended. The snaps on my bandoleer, even with the mag pouches empty, were tight and one was difficult to snap and unsnap. It was in good shape overall for “used” condition, but not really as described or shown in the product video with Lucas.

Only the USMC coyote bandoleers have PALS webbing. None of the other bandoleers have PALS webbing.

These are cool. I bought two. Bandos have the snaps to attach to the USGI 3 day assault pack. I was able to fit 6 aluminum GI mags no problem, and you can fit 6 pmags if you alternate direction. The guy saying you can’t fit 6 mags is dumb, don’t listen to him. If you tuck the flap behind it can accommodate 3 AK mags or 9 MP5 mags. It can fit 3 FAL/G3 mags with vertical room. The coyote version has full PALS webbing, the others do not.

I bought two of these in ACU “used.” Used for what? Filling a closet up somewhere? They look new to me. Anyway, the pouches will each snuggly hold 3 1-liter plastic water bottles (without being able to close the snap), or 3 12-oz cans of your beverage of choice. Or probably anything else of that approximate diameter (spray cans? tubes of grease?). With a carry strap this can be very versatile, and if you’re really crafty you could put a couple of buttons on something you would like to be able to snap it to (maybe a vehicle door panel, for example)

I bought two of the coyote brown USMC bandoleers. The two I bought were used, but looked very new. Obviously they fit the USGIA mags, but mine also fit lancer magazines as well and still close. Pmags fit if you orient one mag upside down in the pouch, like the videos demonstrate. I did soak mine in water for a couple of hours, then put the mags and some pens to stretch it out. After letting it dry, I could close the flap.

Will not close in pmags, works fine with USGI metal mags. Would have given a higher review if that was pointed out in the product description.

Solid Product! A little tight on some snap closures when loaded with mags but I think it’s just from creases or material formed over storage. Did a paint job on the ACUs and they are awesome!

Good, inexpensive little bandos.
Closure can be very tight at first, but the fabric will stretch.
x2 PMAGS WILL FIT, you just have to make them fit.
The dudes claiming that double pmags wont fit probably could never get the GI cots to fully connect either.

My used ACU bandolier was in basically perfect condition. It was a little tight to snap together, but it does work
My new coyote brown bandolier snapped together very easily
