Very nice for the price.
Once again while this bag may technically be used it looks brand new, the m81 is nice and deeply colored, no fading at all in mine; really no signs of use at all. I would say it’s roughly the size of a sleeping bag stuff sack, maybe slightly larger.
The mechanism works similar to a dry bag with the velcro opening that you then roll down and use the clips to hold and further compress . My ID window was nice and clear. Attaching is primarily done with the alice clips that are included but there is lower retention with two small grommets that cordage of some kind could be run through. Originally I would assume this was used as a leg strap with the pouch mounted to the belt, but can also work to attach it at more points to a backpack. The opening will be to the side if you use the original mounting hardware as it appears intended to be used.
Overall for a stuff / pseudo compression sack $12 is a hell of a deal.
