Description

This is a USGI Cotton/Poplin Ripstop Coat, Class 1, OG-107. This third pattern jungle fatigue top got its claim to fame for its prolific usage during the Vietnam War. This 69’ contract top is a rare bird as far as jungle tops go due to its poplin ripstop construction. Around 1967 the armed forces were looking to switch from poplin ripstop to a more durable ripstop composition, due to the excess amount of poplin ripstop in inventory these tops were made from 1967 to 1969 before they were able to finally make the switch to the newer ripstop that served out the rest of the war. We have a limited quantity of these coats in various condition so act fast to secure one for yourself today. Please note this item is a ONE OFF or Non-Regular Item. This means that we do not expect to receive more of this item, was a special case for being available for sale.

Please note some tops may contain a USMC/EGA printing on the left chest pocket, there is no hand select and we cannot guarantee if you will receive one with such markings.
