Description

This a level 7 vest from the PCU system. The vest is lightweight and warm with plenty of insulation. The collar is lined in grid fleece for extra warmth and comfort. The waist has a draw string for keeping warmth in and the zippered front is two way zip. The vest has two zippered pockets for items and the adjustments for the waist are in the pockets. Overall this is a warm vest that can be worn as a outer or inner layer.

Features:

  • ECWCS Level 7 – This level consists of a high loft insulated parka and trousers set that are for wear in extreme cold conditions while static. The parka and trousers are wind and water resistant and meant to be worn as the outer most layer in dry (non wet weather conditions, snow on the ground is ok) environments where movement is limited.
  • Two Way Zipper – Zipper includes two pulls allowing the user to open and close the zipper at different areas.
  • Waist Drawstring – These pants have a drawstring that allows the wear to adjust the waist to the perfect size.
  • Zippered Pockets – Pockets have a zipper closure to secure contents.
  • SOF-PCU – Part of the 7 levels of the Protective Combat Uniform used by Special Operations Forces across the US Military. Levels are similar to the standard ECWCS system. Some levels are broken down into multiple parts, such as lvl 1A & 1B. Overall the system is a more specialized cold and wet weather clothing system that more closely follows current civilian market options that are tailored towards tactical use.
