Description
This is the M15 Fishtail parka that was used in the US Army as a part of the cold/dry extreme cold weather clothing system. The parka is 3/4 length and is worn as an outer layer. The parka is compatible with mohair frieze liners, similar to how M65 jackets have liners. The parka is zip up with a button snap storm flap and has waist and hem drawstrings. There sleeve cuffs are adjustable the waist pockets have button snap flaps. The parkas can also be worn with button on hoods. The parkas are wind resistant and are not meant to be worn in wet conditions. These are old school parkas that are getting hard to find after being out of issue for over 50 years!
DEFECTIVE conditions will have holes larger that 1″, but are still repairable.
These ARE NOT directly compatible with M65 jacket liners!
