USMC Bivy Sack, Sleeping Bag Cover, Coyote

Description

This is a bivy sack used in the USMC. The water and wind proof bivy covers protects the user and their sleeping gear and provides a thin layer of insulation. At the top of the bivy there is a mesh window for ventilation when used in hot and humid conditions. The mesh can be zippered covered for when in wet weather. Across the top is also a wire stiffener that keeps the top of the bivy off the users face when fully enclosed. When used with a woobie, the bivy can be used as a lightweight and waterproof sleep system in warm weather areas. When used with a full sleep system the user can stay protected down to sub freezing temperatures. Overall this is a great bivy sack that unlike the standard US Army bivy can be fully zipped up to cover the user.
