Description
This is a raincoat for dress uniforms that was used by the US Army in the Vietnam era. Similar to modern all-weather coats, this is a large coat with some water and wind resistance that helps keep you warm during cold weather when wearing your dress uniform. It is made in Army Green 274 which gives it a nice vintage look. The Quarpel coating gives it water resistance, although this may have been washed out over the years and need reapplication. The coat opens in the front with oversized buttons, and has pockets at the waist. This is generally very similar to the current all weather coats, just vintage. Overall, this is a great coat for fancy occasions in cold or wet weather.
