USGI Surefire M951 Weapon Light

Description

This is a Surefire M951 Weapon Mounted Light. These were one of the first widely issued out tactical weapon lights, and saw extensive use during the early, and later years, of the GWOT. Made of high strength aluminum, these are made of a solid body, with each side of it being removable. This allows components to be changed out easily. Mounting options are also easy to change on the lights as it is all bolt on/off. This is WHITE LIGHT ONLY, and does not have an IR function as is. It is a low lumen light, with a heavy duty body and a large tail cap switch. The tail cap has an On/Off and Momentary Light function, as well as a port for compatible pressure switches. The mount is rugged and simple, it simply secures to compatible M1913 and Picatinny rails with thumbscrews. Overall this is an older light as is, that can be easily upgraded with modern LED bulbs, and the tail cap is still usable on most current Surefire lights. CR123 batteries are required for use, not included.

Whether for use, parts, to put on a clone build, or for upgrading to meet more modern standards these are a solid light that will last through hard use easily.
